hi there.
I have a problem related to STEAM.
STEAM is a platform that is being constantly updated and spybot is always blocking these updates or the actions preformed by them.
for an instance, every now and then steam will download a new steam.exe file as a part of the update, then it will delete the old one and replace it with the new one.
Amoung other things, spybot is preventing that.

I've tryied to search the forums before i posted and also tryied to search in the soft itself.

what do i do?

Hi, sorry about the double post, there was no way for me to edit the previous post.
I just wanted to clarify that once I deactivate spybot resident "SDHelper" and "TeaTimer" the update process runs smoothly and I have no problem and so I know for a fact that spybot is indeed the problem.
However, doing that every time is a major pain in the buttocks.
There's gotta be a way to tell spybot that STEAM is ok and that it should be allowed to be updated.

If not, well, that's a major design flaw. :(

hello,

first we need to clarify what TeaTimer is acutally blocking here.
To do this please look up the resident log and attach it to your next post.

You can find the resident log if you right click on the resident tray icon and select "show log".

Please also make sure that you have Spybot S&D fully updated and the computer restarted after the update.
