I renamed SPybotSD.exe and it would not open "run as" , then changed the name back to SpybotSD.exe and it would let me "run as" administrator but still does not immuniize everything.
I am the only one on this computer and am the administrator. I do things as the administrator all the time from my regular account.
thanks

Hello,

Which browser and browser version do you use exactly?
Which items are not immunized exactly?
Did you close the browser while immunizing?
Did you try to undo the immunization and then immunize again?
Have you also used the "Check again" function from the menu bar above?
If that does not help please also try to click a second time on the immunization tab.
Sometimes all items get immunized by the second run.
Do you have other security programs installed that might block the immunization?

Also have a look at this (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=36272) link in our forum.

Best regards

Thanks for replying.

I have viewed that forum in the past that is in your reply, does not apply.

I re-installed the software b/c the tools.dll was read only. I changed the properties and it installed with no problem.

Sometimes, it immunizes OK, sometimes not. If it does not I have to run as administrator, sometimes that works sometimes not. It immunizes VERY slowly.

Seams like the 162 version is the problem, a lot of posts.

Right now it is OK, can I ask you about the usage tracks. It is to see malware in the usage tracks right? I know what usage tracks are, so they are a place for malware.

Answers to your questions:

IE8, browser is closed, I will try the undo and immunize, I run Avira and Kerio.

thanks
