Hi,

Which program detected this (do you have a report from it available)? Please post attach.txt contents of DDS too.

Hello.

Spybot has found right media on my computer, when I do the spybot scan.

I remove it and it shows up again, each time I run spybot.

As you asked, here is my attach from dds log. I am not able to zip it.

Hi,

Make sure you have 1.6.2 version of Spybot installed (here (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html)) and run a scan with it. Post back the results.

I have sb version 1.6.2.46. I ran it, and right media came up again as a problem. How do I save a report?

Hi,

Click "+" in front of finding in Spybot results. Does it show the found item as a cookie?

Hello,

Yes, it shows a cookie: tim@ad.yieldmanager.com/()

!!

2010-07-05, 16:49
Hello.

I forgot to ask, do I remove the cookie? Why wouldn't spybot do that, when it removes the Malware?

Thank you.

Blade81
2010-07-05, 21:07
Spybot removes cookie but when you surf to site that contains the specific cookie it gets downloaded and thus found again.

By using custom hosts file you can block most cookies, more information about MVPS hosts file here (http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm). Make sure you read the instructions on how to install the hosts file. There is a good tutorial here (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial51.html).

You should also run Secunia vulnerability check here (http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online/) and fix its findings.
