Every time Tea Timer tries to load, I get a Windows error:
"System settings protector has encountered a problem and needs to close."
This happens on reboot and if I click TeaTimer.exe directly.
Running WindowsXp Professional. I use avast anti-virus & ZoneAlarm firewall. However, TeaTimer does the same thing even with both of these closed.

(I can't remember the version numbers exactly, and can't find it anywhere.)
Could you do me a favor? :)
If you open Spybot, then click Help, and then About, you should see the version number.Spybot 1.6.2.46 is the latest version of Spybot. Is that what you see there,or is it 1.6.2.0?

No problem. :)
Some people had a similar problem before, but they had an older version of Teatimer,so not sure I'll be of much help, unfortunately.
When the error comes up,is there a "more info" box you can click?

Also, could you try booting up in safe mode and manually starting Teatimer, and see if you get the same error?
