View Full Version : Browser Re-Direct

I am having issues with my browser being redirected. My browser is Firefox. When I first enter my search criteria into Google, the correct listings are displayed, but when I then click on one of the links, I am not taken to the correct web page, but instead to a web site with a bunch of advertisements. Then, when I click "back" my browser will not go back. The only way I can get to an accurate web site is to manually type in the web address into the address bar.

I have backed up my Registry with ERUNT and I have posted below the two DDS reports:

Please read Before You Post (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288)
While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen. It is advisable that you back up your important data before starting any clean up procedure. Neither Safer Networking Forums nor the Analyst providing the advice may be held responsible for any loss.

Please download GooredFix from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop
Download Mirror #1 (http://jpshortstuff.247fixes.com/GooredFix.exe)
Download Mirror #2 (http://downloads.securitycadets.com/GooredFix.exe)
Ensure all Firefox windows are closed.
To run the tool, double-click it (XP), or right-click and select Run As Administrator (Vista).
When prompted to run the scan, click Yes.
GooredFix will check for infections, and then a log will appear. Please post the contents of that log in your next reply (it can also be found on your desktop, called GooredFix.txt).

You have Malwarebytes installed, open it, check for updates and run the quick scan removing all it finds, post that log also please
