question about chrome

Quick question...

Do files like MVPS Hosts also protect you when browsing on google chrome, or other non-IE browsers?

Also, same question for IE-Spyad, and if not are there equivilant files to protect non-IE browsers?

The HOSTS file affects all browsers, regardless of platform; however I'd recommend Peter Lowe's HOSTS file instead, because the MVPs file has notable false positives (IIRC last time I used it I couldn't get on Sourceforge)

I'm not sure about any equivalent for IE-SPYAD, because other browsers don't have its zone model...
