Please forgive me for interrupting. I have been trying to figure out where to open a new thread. I need help removing malware, viruses, from pc pc.

I have gotten rid of the majority but want some help to be 100% and to check for some rootkits.

Thanks,

This thread can be erased after I get a reply. Thank you so much and I apologize to the other user. I will come back and help him out with advice. I work with pcs for a living and have extensive background in computers.

I just go above and beyond to ensure everything is properly secure.

Paranoid a little but better to be safe than sorry in this field.

These are great free tools:

Secunia PSI - does an audit and with one click buttons to upload patches and secure all applications on your pc. Once this is done open advanced options to secure java and other loop holes on your pc.

Spybot S&D is pretty fair. Immunize your browse after running a scan.

I like Superantispyware - does a good job.
Also, winpatrol - barks at you anytime a program or change has occurred to bring to your attention to accept or not.

Belarc - does a great impressive audit.

I have tons and tons of great software if you think these help you.

Thanks,
