View Full Version : malware: atmclk.exe
Hello,
I have a spyware problem on my computer. I think the processes atmclk.exe and dcomcfg.exe are the problem. I used the manual http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=4015to remove the infections. I think the problem is solved, but can someone please check my logs to see of the problem is gone?
Thank you.

Hi thyske
Did you run smithfraudfix option Two while the PC was in safe mode ?
If not please do so.
Uninstall all BUT one of those antivirus programs
Update suns java manualy
Sun Java V1.5.0_07 is Available:
http://forums.spybot.info/showpost.php?p=12880&postcount=2
Afterwards it's important to uninstall the old version's.
I have no problems any more, so I think the problem is solved.
Thank you very much.

How To Download and Extract the HOSTS file:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts2.htm
Repeat that proccess about once or twice a month
To help avoid reinfection see "So how did I get infected in the first place?"
