Do I Really Need Protection For IExplorer?

I only ever use Firefox as my browser.
In Spybot under the section of "Immunize" there are three sections covering the immunization of IExplorer, but only one for Firefox.

Do I need this protection, even if I don't use IExplorer?
Will unchecking the IExplorer boxes improve Spybot software run time?

Hello,

Using the immunization is also recommended for the Firefox browser.
Otherwise you won't be protected against the bad sites.
If you deactivate the the protection for IE that should not make any difference.
You would only notice a difference if you would work with IE.
