Spybot doesn't run and more ...

My system is W 7 x64bit.
I experienced some problems with Spybot S&D lately.
It doesn`t start, cannot be updated and stops working (twice in one month). I reinstalled it 3 days ago (used the newest version + it updated succesfully all definitions), then did a full scan. Nothing except cookies and one registry key was found (repaired).
But today my problems are back - Spybot S&D cannot be launched. I tried the steps mentioned in the thread "Spybot doesn't run - What you should do" http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=50194.
Step #1 didn`t work for me, but step #2 - did and I could run the program. But it is useless since something still prevents Spybot from updating (the updating popup window is terminated after 1 sec.).
Then I couldn`t even open your site (Chrome and Opera - they stopped working) in order to look for help !!
Here are my questions :
1. what should I do now ? I assume my main problem now is to get rid of malicious software rather than think about updating Spybot. Am I right ?
Can you tell me where can I get any help with it ? I`m a novice with malware and have no idea where to turn...
2. SpybotSD.exe was renamed (in step #2). Should it be left like that or returned to the original name ?

Then start your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) and post your DDS.txt logfile. An analyst will advise you as soon as available. Spybot doesn't run - What you should do (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=50194)

You can return to the original name or leave as is for now.
