Win32/SillyDl.AGC.Trojan + Cowabanga.exe + Win***.tmp.exe

Hi there, i really really need some help!

My computer is infected with some spywares which many spyware removers are not able to remove.

Here are the infection details:
1. I used Spyware Doctor to find out which are the infected files. it points at WIN32.CLML.Downloader (trojan).
2. Registry key: HKLM-Software-Microsoft-MSSMGR is always the one infected
3. Two win&&&.tmp (where &=hexadecimal no) files are created in the C:\Windows\Temp\ directory evry 6 minutes (calculated)
4. A win&&&.tmp.exe file is created in the same folder every 15-30 mins (approximately). They occur in a particular progression. e.g. WIN1F.tmp.exe is created after WIN19.tmp.exe; WIN40.tmp.exe is created after WIN34.tmp.exe (there is a difference of 6 hexadecimal nos)
5. A random trojan is found in the C:\Document.....\Temporary Internet Files\<those random folders>\<randomfilename>.exe every 30-45 mins.

I have run Spyware Doctor, Innoculate IT and some other random spyware removers. No avail.

please delete the thread.

i formatted the computer since the matter got out of control. too many popups, task manager didnt work(even in safe mode). i guess i have to harden my system in a better way this time. luckily all my data was safe. but the pain of installing everything all over again is ... *sigh*

hey there, thanks for ur post. ur steps were the first thing i did.. But isnt ZoneAlarm.. annoying.. and i dont even know how to set the status of half of the programs which popups... if i accidentally deny some program person.. something or other stops working.. which firewall would u recommend?

Its easy, they have a free forum if you have questions, basicly allow all if your system is clean (freshly installed) and when you instatall lagitamat programs.
