Hello

I had the rootkit problem and as i always do i read about the problems to solve it myself and as usual it worked except now i have no sound and everything i've tried did not work.

So basicly i used combofix, atf-cleaner, Malwarebyte's anti-malware and that online virus scan to fix my rootkit problem and it's fixed but now my computer will not play any sound.

I do not know at which point i've actuly lost it. I know it's a sound problem but since it happened using softwares that you seem to be familiar with, I think you may be able to help me out.

Please help because a soundless computer is not very useful to me.

Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.

DDS.com (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/dds)
DDS.scr (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr)

Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
Notepad will open with the results, click no to the Optional_Scan
Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.

Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.
