Hi,

Please help. I got the browser hijacked when I fell for the scam of updating my vidio codec. It hijacked the browser, windows security, and McAfee. It said windows security found several problems and I should update my windows patches. When I clicked on that it took me to a down load page for a spyware removed software and said "authorized partners".

Anyway, I followed the stickey and downloaded HijackThis, updated SpyBot, download and ran SmitfraudFix, and Ewido. Here are my log posts. Could someone look them over and see how I am doing.

Hi there.

I removed the six Spybot-S&D posts as helpers may have thought you were already being assisted (by the post count) and also because that log is not needed unless requested and then if so, not in that lengthy format. ;)
