View Full Version : Google Re-direct Virus?
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help with a problem I am having. I have some sort of Malware on my machine that I have not been able to remove with SpyBot or any other software. This bug has control over my browser and keeps redirecting me to all sorts of advertising sites, porn sites and other non-desireable pages. SpyBot keeps picking up something called "CoolWWWSearch". Each time it picks up several versions of it. It removes those instances but an hour later several instances are back again. My AVG software keeps picking up "svchost.exe" bugs. AVG has been kicking them off to no avail. They just keep coming back. I've noticed a bunch of "svchoct.exe" processes running in Task Manager. As soon as I terminate the process tree another one instantly pops up. These things are killing the performance of my machine. Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of this? :confused:
I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I need to run a DDS log. Can anyone tell me how to do this?:oops:

If you still need help with this do the following, please.
Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.com) or here (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr) or here (http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/dds).
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds file to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt
Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
