Spybot process list shows crss.exe and winlogon.exe path's as \??\X:\

Hi. As the title of this post says, Spybot process list shows crss.exe and winlogon.exe path's as \??\X:\
where X is the drive letter.....but my question is, why are there two question marks preceding the drive letter? Apologies if this post is in wrong place...and thanks for your time if you know the answer.
