New computer/SB 16246 ??

Morning..
New computer - not yet hooked up - will run on W7-64bit. Can I copy my current SB program - WXP OS - to a disk and then install from that disk on new computer? Dialup is my only option so would like to minimize DL time. Secondly, will the SB ver. 1.6.2.46 work with W7-64 bit ?

Hello,

Please download the installation and the update file on another computer,
copy these to a CD or USB stick and then install and run it on your new computer:
Installation file (http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd162.exe) and Update file (http://www.spybotupdates.com/updates/files/spybotsd_includes.exe)

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2 is also compatible with Windows 7.

Thank you, SB Sandra, for taking the time to reply. Was hoping to be able to copy what is already on the old computer to a disk and then just "transfer" to the new one and thereby bypass all those hours of download time.... Ah well, such is life...
