Hi, I am wondering why my Spybot Search and Destroy version says 1.6.0 on the top, yet on Spybot's download page it says 1.6.2 is the latest version. I have updated Spybot, yet the version number does not change. I get the beta updates also.

I am running a Windows XP professional. Image posted for reference of the problem.

Hello,

Seems like you have an old version with the current updates.
We recommend a fresh install of Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Please uninstall Spybot - Search & Destroy according to the following link (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/howto/uninstall.html).
Then make a fresh install of Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.2 by choosing the direct installation file (http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd162.exe).
