Just ran SB adn it gave ann error:

I have run sevreal scans and nothing show up, is this a false pos.? Thanks.

hello,

I like to have more information on this issue, such as the version of Spybot S&D you are using and the date of the last update you used and so on. All of these information is included in a Spybot S&D report file. So please have a look at this post (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=19117) on how to report a possible false positive.

The partial report you posted is from the errors log, this does not show false positives. So answering your question, these are not false positives, they are errors which should not occur. A Spybot S&D report file may shed some light on this issue.

Here is the requested info:
I did this yesterday, the message came up during the scan, and stopped. Using Win Vista Home, x32, IE 8; laptop. My other laptop and desktp are fine.

It appears that your version of Spybot S&D is missing important files which cause this issue. It would be best if you downloaded the current installer , uninstall the current install and install with the downloaded installer.
