HI! I'm almost afraid to ask, but here it goes. I got a Trojan on my laptop [not this computer] and neither spybot nor windows defender completely removes it. Unfortunately, I think it has written itself into my boot menu somehow because even though windef and spybot both remove it, it comes back every time I turn on the computer. Just to double check, I turned my computer on, removed it, played some cards (no wireless net, jic), and then shut the computer down. I did this three times.
Windef says it is : Trojan: win32/FakeSysdef and Spybot says: Fraud.HDDDefragmenter.

the worst part: I didn't even download this sucker myself. It must have piggybacked onto something else. The fake program called itself "Quick Defrag" and told me my computer was broken and that it couldnt' find my hard drive.

is my computer totally screwed? or can this be fixed without breaking the bank? Thanks! and sorry this is so long.
