I am not very good with computers, and my internet service providers keep giving me these 'abuse' reports that I have torpig in my computer. So I have made an account here hoping for some salvage. Before reading below, thank you in advance.

I know people on the forum use hijackthis and combofix, but I don't have the guts to try it alone.

I have always used V3, then recently I have tried Malwarebytes, f-secure, and installed Microsoft Security Essentials. And Telus recommended me to use Stinger, but doesn't seem to do the job.

Also, all those are currently installed in the computer, but I am sort of concerned that somehow those softwares might affect each other. Because I remember hearing somewhere that virus scanners are virus too...??

Please help me remove this vicious bugger?

Hello SharonO,

Sorry to hear of the problem, if you would like someone to take a look at the system please see this FAQ "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) which also includes instructions on posting preliminary DDS logs for analysis.

Then start a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22) and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available. :)

Best regards.
