Hey gang. I'm working on a laptop that is infected with a bogus Windows Toolkit program. It starts windows then comes up with an error about the windows boot disk, then it runs some kind of fake scan. It completely took over the system. I can't access anything at all, task manager, registry, start menu, nothing. Even safe mode doesn't work. I ran Dr Web Emergency Boot CD which took almost 15 hours to finish. It cleaned a bunch of infections but not what is causing this issue. I need to run something pre Windows to clear this up since I can't do anything once Windows loads. Thanks in advance!
