Hello,
Spybot keeps identifying and "fixing" Pipas.A on my system every time I scan it, but it returns upon each restart. Here is my HijackThis log:

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe
Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log in the forum please.

After rebooting and after Fixwareout had finished running, SpywareGuard came up telling me that my homepage had been changed from Google to a Microsoft URL. It asked me whether I wanted to keep this new URL or revert back to my original one. I chose to revert back to Google and the same warning window came up. Eventually I chose the new Microsoft URL, only to find Google come up when I opened Internet Explorer!
Anyway, here is the Fixwareout log:

Looks like your missing SpyBots sdhelper.dll, it is version 1.4 you have correct ?

Download that zip to your desktop then extract the file inside to SSD's folder in program files (C:\PROGRAM FILES\Spybot\)
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DMIDF.EXE < delete that file at that location.
avg will probaly offer to delete it when you get close, thats fine.
Yes it is ok to empty the windows recyclebin, delete c:\fixwareot and the zip also.
This paticular address is/was part of the infection, have hijackthis fix it while your browsers are closed

Before doing this write down all the settings, Note that not all system/setups even have these settings, While some connection service's will require them.
In the windows control panel. If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
Do that for every conntection listed.
Are there any current problems ?
I'm not sure why HijackThis missed that file, because it is there. Even after replacing it with the link you provided it still misses it. Maybe a reinstall will fix it.
As for Pipas.A, your instructions have deleted it; thanks very much. Spybot doesn't report it anymore. The O17 address was seemingly already deleted after I ran Fixwareout, because it wasn't running the next time I ran HijackThis.
Everything I've since scanned with (AVG, Ad-Aware & Spybot) have reported a clean bill of health, so I think everything's running alright again.

Curious, is SDhelper checked in SpyBots tools ?
advanced mode > tools > resident page
If it is uncheck it wait a few moments then recheck and close SpyBot.
It shouldnt show as missing in a Hijackthis log ?
Since your using Spywareguard and windows defender i suggest not using SpyBots resident Tea timer.
If Spysweeper is not installed fix this item using Hijackthis

You can fix that 09 if you like, i would fix the PartyPoker items and uninstall it to but thats optional.
I see the 017 re-apeared(nothing to be alarmed about), go threw these instructions

Before doing this write down all the settings, Note that not all system/setups even have these settings, While some connection service's will require them.
In the windows control panel. If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
Do that for every conntection listed.
OK, fixed that O9 and updated those control panel settings.
Why would you recommend uninstalling PartyPoker? Feel a bit uneasy seeing as I use my credit card with it.
(Although I'm sure it isn't anything quite as serious as that.)

Personally I am not confident they are safe, not necessarily party poker itself, there are lots of other poker and gambling sites that are not safe.
Be sure to update you Acrobat Reader program.

Yea, I've implemented alot of the recommendations from the stickied threads in this forum, although it was a case of closing the stable door after the horse had bolted.
