I had the BSOD issue where we thought it was overheating. Well, it blue after I turned it on after sitting overnight. Here is what the blue screen said:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Stop: 0x00000001 (0xba40389b, 0x00000006, 0x00000001, 0xb71073ee

RTENICXP.SYS-Address B71073ee base @ b70fd000

Any ideas?

Hi,

1. Download TDSSKiller (http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.zip) and extract its contents into a folder in desired location (i.e. c:\tdsskiller).
2. Execute the file TDSSKiller.exe.
3. Click Start Scan. If threats are found, select cure and click Continue (tool may prompt for a reboot).
4. Post back contents of log file in c: drive root (name should be in UtilityName.Version_Date_Time_log.txt format)
