The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Palevo" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Win32.Palevo copies several malicious files to the profile folder and creates a registry entry without user consent. It also starts itself in background and connects to its malicious servers. It uses various methods to ensure that it gets started. It also uses folder icons for its executable files to make the user execute the files believing them to be folders.
Removal Instructions:

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Remove "<$FIXEDDRIVES>\RECYCLER\*\*.exe" from registry value "Taskman" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\".
