For about a week now, I have had a cookie show up called "pmocntr2" which research shows is a Trojan (possibly originating in Brazil) designed to steal banking information.
It also begins to slow down my computer.
To get rid of it, I run a search which shows that it is in the form of an XML Document which is found in "C:\Users\ my name \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\UserData
I have been deleting it when it shows up every day or two but I want to know how to permanently delete it and block it. (I am running Vista Home Premium using IE9.)
Any ideas?
