I recently returned from vacation and left my PC in the care of my little brother. I cant say I wasnt surprised to find something wrong with the PC. He even put LimeWire on it and he knows I hate that stuff.after a while my PC then started acting weird, I would hear a click and then a bunch of repeated pops as if there were popups coming up, but no popups and its still happening as I type this. Aside from the annoying sound it also minimizes my applications such as my games and it sometimes causes my programs to freeze and crash. I am a brute when it comes to fixing computers. I have ran Spybot and have found a few things such a DoubleClick, FastClick, and a few others which I cant remember the names of but maybe these are causing the problems, and they keep returning after a little while. Here is a HJT log. Im not sure whats wrong with this and I wouldnt be surprised if there is a giant mess in there. If you can please help me to fix this up it would make this alot easier on me.
Thank You (sorry for the essay)
Sin:)

Hi

Uninstall either avast or avg, more than one av program can couse both to be inefective, afterwards restart your PC.

Set windows to show hidden files/folders and extensions
for XP systems Open any folder, Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.
Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Apply to confirm. Click OK.

1.Update your Ewido program

2. Please download Brute Force Uninstaller (http://www.merijn.org/files/bfu.zip) to your desktop.

Right click the BFU folder on your desktop, and choose Extract All

Click on the + sign next to "My Computer"
Click on "Local Disk (C: ) or whatever your primary drive is
Click "Make New Folder"
Type in BFU
Click "Next", and Uncheck the "Show Extracted Files" box and then click "Finish".3. RIGHT-CLICK HERE (http://metallica.geekstogo.com/alcanshorty.bfu) and choose "Save As" (in IE it's "Save Target As")
save as text Alcra PLUS Remover.
Save it in the same folder you made earlier (c:\BFU).
If it was saved as alcanshorty.bfu.txt rename to alcanshorty.bfu
Do not do anything with these yet!
