ComboFix is crashing my computer

I'm following instructions as noted, but every time I try to run ComboFix, the computer crashes (showing the "blue screen"). The person helping me stated to post a new thread if I had trouble since they only help in the AM (see copy of message below). I had disabled Norton prior to running ComboFix, tried running in regular and safemode, and every time, just before ComboFix finishes loading, the computer goes down. Please advise if there is something else I can do to get ComboFix to run or another option.

Please ensure you read this guide carefully first.

Please continue as follows:

Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link
Remember to re-enable them afterwards.

Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.


When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

C:\ComboFix.txt
New dds log.
