Updater only downloads OLD and OUTDATED definition files

Hello World!

I've been going thru the same issue for quite a long time now, but now I'm quite desperate about it.

When using the "search updates" button, it shows the mirror sites list, and despite which you choose, it will always show old and outdated updates for downloading, like definition files dated 2009-11-04.

I can download with no errors, and install them as well, but while analyzing, will only search for 790428 robots.

If i download and install manually, by using the update definition file on the download section of the webpage, will download and install perfectly as well, but STILL will not look for more than 790.428 robots.

Tried to install on a different PC, using a diferent installer downloaded from different sites, but same results.

Also searched in the forums with not much luck either...

Does anyone know or throw some light about this issue?

Hello wartolo,

some of the files that are part of the updates available were in fact last updated in 2009.

Only a few files contain the constantly updated malware singatures for Spybot-S&D and are changing all the time.
