Tea Timer not loading

I commented on an older thread as well but given no clear solution was provided and my problem is slightly different.

Running WinXP.

Most recent version of Spybot S&D.

I have selected both Teatimer and SD Resident protection in the Tools menu.

When system boots Teatimer does not run in the system tray nor are any alerts/notifications spawned.

However, when looking at the running processes on the machine Teatimer.exe is running in the background. Can't find anything resembling SD Resident running but not sure if there is suppose to be.

Any ideas?

Thanks. I understand but as I indicated the behavior isn't exactly the same as the one in the thread you linked to and no solution was provided in the older thread after over a year.

I will continue in whichever thread you prefer. But is there an answer to my question as well or will it just be an addendum to a long dead thread?
