Hi guys, not really sure where to post this but I was just curious (not really knowing much about this sort of thing). I did the free port scan test from the SecurityMetrics site https://www.securitymetrics.com/ and all the test ports came back "Stealth"ed, however before that list it said:

"Your computer reported an IP address of **.***.***.**, but your actual IP address is 192.168.*.*."

Both of which are/were correct. I guess since I know nothing about it my question is is it safe it can detect my ACTual IP address? It doesn't seem to indicate one way or another if that's fine or not - I mean it might just be normal and regular but I've no idea. Thanks :).

The first is your external or public IP address provided by your ISP. The second is your internal IP via your NAT router. I believe a site can get the internal ip via Java, which you could disable, but its really no threat to you or that they know it.
