Hi,

You seem to have multiple antivirus programs running there. Decide which one you want to keep of these: AVG, Ad-Aware and Norton Internet Security (make sure you choose one with license valid). Post fresh dds logs when done.

I'm going to delete Norton it was on comp when purchased, but ad aware is also an anti virus?

According to product comparison chart (http://www.lavasoft.com/download_and_buy/product_comparison_chart.php) it has antivirus protection too.

Hi,

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location.
Please post contents of that file in your next reply.

Hi,

Are there any symptoms remaining?

vaney1313
2011-06-11, 23:01
I didn't really notice any other issues other than the few warnings when I was surfing the web and opened up some pages that said they were avg safe and then my comp page switched to my computer folder page and started blinking saying there were trojans, viruses, and blinking numerous red warnings. haven't happened again yet, not sure if mouse somewhat freezing or not scrolling right is issue with interference or infections?? so hope that helps. Hi,

Mouse problem is likely not related to this issue. I recommend now to download and run Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) (http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/) and fix its findings. PSI is really a great program to help keeping system up-to-date and that way less vulnerable to infections.

other than the malwarebytes findings do you see other issues in the logs? and I'm downloading secunia right now. thank you

What were the detected items? If you're able to provide a screenshot of findings showing full file paths of detected items that would be good.

Hi,

Please reanalyse those files. Those could be false positives from AVG side.

Hi,

Since only AVG is finding something in those I believe findings are likely false positives and safe to ignore.

vaney1313
2011-06-15, 07:55
well I believe the blaster 3 file had 2 findings, so do I just ignore the warnings on Avg or remove the "false infections" ?? Thank you Blade81!!!

Blade81
2011-06-15, 13:00
Ignore those findings or alternatively uninstall those games the files are related to. There should be option to set AVG to ignore those specific files somewhere in its settings too.
