View Full Version : Cant run or uninstall Spybot SnD2
i need help badly

Hi there, i just installed Spypot Search and Destroy 2 not long ago, and its already not working , i think i did something wrong but i dont know what.
It says im missing these files:
SDShred.exe
SDSysRepair.exe
I tried updating but it doesnt do anything.
I tried uninstalling , it doesnt let me either.
Oh god this is frustrating :confused:
Any help at all greatly appreciated >.<
To uninstall,there are two different ways you could try,whichever one you find easiest.
You could try booting into safe mode first,then uninstall the Spybot beta:

Or,you could rightclick the SDtray down by the computer's clock,select Enable/Disable services,press the Elevate button if you have Vista or Windows 7,then stop all the services there,and uninstall Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer integration,then uninstall Spybot 2.
If you reinstall,that should readd the missing SDShred.exe and SDSysRepair.exe files.
