You might not be seeing the registry box when you install new programs because Spybot has a whitelist now,and if a program is known not to be a threat, you won't get an Allow or Deny prompt from Teatimer, unless Teatimer is set to Paranoid Mode.

If your operating system is Windows 7 or Vista, please see here:

Are you using Spybot 1.6.2,or are you using the beta?

Running S&D 1.6.2 under Win7-SP-1 (just installed SP-1). Previously, was able to Immunize all by Win_Explorer -> Program Files (x86) -> Spybot SD --> .exe file. Right click & run as admin. Now cannot find .exe file. Cannot run "as ", cannot immunize all.

???

Thanks,

This did work: in Windows explorer: program files (x86) --> spybot S&D --> updater. Right click on updater, run as administrator.

Pretty cumbersome!!

spybotSD.exe is a hidden file,so if you don't have hidden files and folders set to show, that might explain why you can't find the .exe in Program Files anymore.

If you have a Spybot icon on your desktop, you can rightclick that and run as Administrator.Or,you can do it from the start menu, like it shows in the link I posted above.
