BAD experience with 2.03 Beta

I used to use Spybot 1.6 and decided to install the new Spybot 2.03 Beta. The installation went great but I found it caused every single web page in IE9 to hang. I found I was forever reloading the browser. Also it never updated it's definitions properly and gave me false and VERY cryptically titled positives on scanning. The horrible part was trying to uninstal it. The uninstal went OK up to the part where it asked me 3 TIMES if I really wanted to do this. Then everything went crazy. The uninstal meter sat there and sat there for 15 minutes them suddenly went zooming to the end and my screen went completely haywire and my system rebooted itself. Then I was unable to reboot. I had to use my Acronis boot disc and reload my last backup. Has anyone else had any experience like this? I use Windows 7 Sp1 x64.

Yeah, that's already known which you would ave found out if you would have done a forum search. So you need to stop the tray and the services, but at best uninstall from safe mode.

You tried uninstalling in Safe Mode, correct?

They KNOW this and they are still letting people install it!!!???

It should be called "Spybot 2.0.3 Pre Alpha", lol.
