When starting a scan, spybot always counts the temp files and then offers to remove them, and times out if you don't. When I tried scanning today, the "temp files" screen flashed for .004 nanoseconds, and then started scanning. By starting and stopping the scan 30 times, and reading quickly, I was able to read that the system had found 40 temp files, but was not offering to remove them. I finished the scan, and it found no items to remove. It usually finds at least a couple.

Is there something fishy going on?

I think the default minimum number of temp files is still 100 before Spybot offers to remove them.Since only 40 temp files were found,that might explain why Spybot just flashed the screen quickly,then went directly into scanning. :)
