cant get rid of pup [Archive] - Safer-Networking Forums

it is BKERNALMAIN.EXE and resides in
C:\Windows\System32.
i have AVG. and it can put it in the vault but it just respawns. survives reboots n XXXX. im pretty XXXX at all this, anyone help?
i tried to download the thing mentioned here:

and it was infected. avg doesnt seem to have a p.u.p removal/healing thing, just
an exceptions bit....

Hi

I think you missed BEFORE you POST (READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) (http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288) sticky. Follow the instructions there to create DDS logs. Copy-paste contents of those back here.
