another small question

sorry, don't know how to start a new thread in the following category, but here's my question:

spybot installed and working well on my xp pro thinkpad, with preferences indicated.

but i chose to start up spybot search and destroy when my computer starts up, and want to change that. how do i change my preferences after spybot completes its s&d?

Hello,

Starting a new thread in our forums is quite easy.
Just choose the forum you want to post at (e.g. the Spybot-S&D forum (http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=4))
There you will find the button "New Thread" above the list of the existing threads.

About your problem:
In order to undo Spybot-S&D's automation, you can delete the configuration file (which is named Configuration.ini). Where it is located depends on your Windows version:
(Please be sure that hidden files are shown. Please have a look at this page (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/tips/hiddenfiles.mspx) to see how to show hidden files and folders.

For Windows XP you will find it in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\
For Windows Vista or Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Spybot - Search & Destroy\

Either delete that file, or edit it (for example in notepad) setting all the Automation values in it to zero.
