Hi guys new member here, I've got a really slow pc at the mo and I think its got some form of spyware/malware. Everytime I do use Spybot, Ewido and Ad-aware, the pc speeds up but then the next day its the same old frustrating story. I have logged a Hijack this file and hopefully you guys will be able to help as this is impeding my work with a slow PC.

Welcome to the forum, this HJT log is clean. You are running NAV which is a hugh security suite and resource user. You are also running ewido 4.0 which uses it's fair share of resources. Do you own ewido? If it is a trial, disable it in services so it runs only when you run it manually. Nothing much to do with the NAV, it is going to use resources. Here are some other suggestions that may help speed up the computer.

You might also try a diagnostic at PCPitStop to see if they spot anything other than malware.

Many thanks for your help! But I seem to do a 'cleanup' everyday and theres at least 10 spyware programs that ewido and spybot pick up

This makes no sense at all, if these programs are picking up something...what is it. Look back at what you told me in what you had to say before you posted the HJT log. Absolutely nothing. I am a malware remover not a mind reader.

Thanks
