Hello,

I searched the forum but didn't find any clear advice how to immunize multiple Firefox profiles if SD doesn't find them automatically.

SD seems to have no problem to find and immunize two or more different Firefox profiles if they are in the default location. However, I can't get SD to immunize a profile that is on a different drive.

All profiles are identified clearly in the Firefox profiles.ini file which is in the default location. Only the profile in the default location is recognized.

Is there a way to get SD recognize the other profiles as well?

Win XP SP3, most recent Firefox, SD 1.6.2

Hello,

Did you open Spybot with a right click and choose "run as administrator/take ownership" (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/42.html)?

If this does not work you can easily immunize other accounts using the command line parameter "/allhives". Just modify the target line in Spybot-S&D's shortcut to ""C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /allhives"

Best regards

No, I didn't. The XP user runs with administrative privileges anyway, but I'll try.

Does this apply to windows accounts or firefox profiles? I found nothing in the (german) help on this topic. http://www.safer-networking.org/de/faq/41.html suggests it works for windows accounts only...

Thanks anyway, I'll try your suggestions!
