HI,
In another thread I reported installing SS&D 1.6.2.46 in Windows 8 Developer Preview, to see if it worked (and it did). But when I right-clicked on a folder in Windows Explorer, I was surprised to discover an option in the context menu to scan the folder with Spybot! :bigthumb:
The thing is, I don't have that option in my Spybot install on my main PC (Vista). It's the same version of SS&D. When setting up Spybot on Win8, I don't remember doing anything different or unusual -- so what could explain the difference? Did I miss some detail during the installation?
Obviously, if it's possible to get the context menu scan option on my Vista, I'd like to do it.
(If it helps, first I had installed and then uninstalled the Spybot 2 beta on the Win8 system.)
Any thoughts on this?
