• Welcome Guest, to the Spybot Forums! It's 2025, and we just upgraded our forum software.

Today is Safer Internet Day, and with our new forum, you can finally use passkeys to login. That was about time!

Of course, you could ask if a forum is still useful, with so many social media networks out there where you might already have an account, and met a lot of users. You can now use your login from some of those networks to log in here. And by posting here, your question and data is stored on our servers and not automatically shared with a whole social media network.

We'll also start using the forum for small bits of information, announcements and more again.

Spybot removes BaylonToolbar but it fails to find equally difficult to remove DVDVideoSoft Toolbar.
After uninstalling the application in the browser is to find DVDVideoSoft Search.
It has removed one entry in the registry but it did not work.
Maybe someone has an idea how to delete it.
PS. Sorry for my poor English.:friend:

Hello _Nika,

The FAQ for this forum, "BEFORE You POST"(Please read this Procedure Before Requesting Assistance) ;)

After uninstalling the application in the browser is to find DVDVideoSoft Search.
It has removed one entry in the registry but it did not work.
From the website:

To uninstall DVDVideoSoft Toolbar from Firefox follow the steps:

  • go to Start -> All Programs -> Firefox to launch the browser
  • go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions -> select DVDVideoSoft Toolbar and press the button Uninstall
  • restart Firefox.
To uninstall DVDVideoSoft Toolbar from Internet Explorer follow the steps:

  • go to Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features ("Add or Remove Programs" in windows XP) -> select DVDVideoSoft Toolbar from the list and press the button Uninstall ("Change/Remove" in windows XP)
  • restart your computer.
Did you try to remove the toolbar using those instructions?

Best regards. :)

the toolbar still works

Thanks for the instruction manual browsers.
If it were that simple it does not look for help in this forum. Remove it from IE and FF was the first thing I did.
DVDVideoSoft Toolbar is not on the list of additives.
I also found an entry to that removed the registry, but the toolbar still works.
So I still need support.
Ps. Sorry for the sarcasm

_Nika
