NEED HELP! My ad-aware program freezes when its opening...

I have Spybot Search & Destroy and Ewido anti-spyware and on both I cant update and when I run their scans they show nothing. I uninstalled my ad-aware se and reinstalled it, but when it opens it freezes when it is loading definitions.

Please somebody help me I'm DESPERATE!!!!

I did everything in the link you gave me, but somethings i couldn't complete, for example I tried running the online virus scans and when they were about to start the window they were in just closed out of nowhere. I couldnt run any of the online scans not even panda.

and when i was fixing the checked items in hijackthis I got this error message:

And what did you fix, run Hijackthis click config > backups put a check next to all of them then click restore, now click back then scan > save log and post not attach that log please.

I got the same error as before. And I still can't run the online virus scans 'cause my internet explore closes just when they are about to start.

Replace your Hosts file then try another online scan

Try updating SpyBot , what happens exactly ?

You should ask Ad-Aware questions at the Ad-aware forum website.

I see norton is installed, why dont you have it running ?
