Spybot won't run - system *should* be clean [Archive]

Heya - this is my dissertation computer, but I play a few games via Steam. Yesterday I notice that Spybot won't open, and the updater doesn't return with new updates (after not being run for 6 days, which is unusual from my experience). I nosed around and found this forum. As per Tashi's comments, here are the DDS.txt contents below the jump and attached is the attach.txt in a .zip format. Thank you very much for taking a moment to poke at my problems, :thanks:

this is my dissertation computer, but I play a few games via Steam. You also have BitTorrent peer to peer software on this computer.

We are not here to pass judgment on file-sharing as a concept. However, we will warn you that engaging in this activity and having this kind of software installed on your machine will always make you more susceptible to re-infection. If your computer is infected, it almost certainly contributed to your current situation.

Please note: Even if you are using a "safe" P2P program, it is only the program that is safe. You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are more often than not, infected. The bad guys use P2P file-sharing as a major conduit to spread their wares.

I would strongly recommend that you uninstall it now. You can do so via Control Panel, Programs, and then Programs and Features.

launch Spybot S&D, go to the Mode menu and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected.
on the left hand side, click on Tools, then click on the Resident Icon in the list.
uncheck the Resident TeaTimer (Protection of overall system settings) active box.
click on the System Startup icon in the List
uncheck the "TeaTimer" box and click OK at any prompts.
if Teatimer gives you a warning that changes were made, click Allow Change when prompted.
exit Spybot S&D.

(When we are finished, you can re-enable Teatimer using the same steps but this time place a check next to "Resident TeaTimer" and check the "TeaTimer" box in System Startup).

download aswMBR.exe (http://public.avast.com/~gmerek/aswMBR.exe) to your desktop.
double click the aswMBR.exe to run it
if asked, accept the AVAST virus definition download
click the "Scan" button to start scan
on completion of the scan click Save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply
