Spybot Stopping

Hello everyone, I searched the forum for this but couldn't find anything so I thought I would post about it. My Computer is DEFINITELY infected with Spyware and Adware. I have to click on links two or three times to go to the correct page.

Anyway, I downloaded whichever is the latest version of Spybot as of this date, and updated it completely, but it will never complete a full scan. It always stops at "win32.sober". I let it sit overnight and it was still stuck there.

Just now I tried it in Safe Mode, and it isn't working still. I don't know what to do, I want to get rid of the junk on this computer but I need Spybot to work. Any ideas?

Certain malware can stop security programs, as you believe the computer is infected please follow the instructions in this sticky topic to get a HJT log.

As you can't scan with Spybot-S&D skip those instructions for now.
