The following instructions have been created to help you to get rid of "Win32.Barys.bho" manually.
Use this guide at your own risk; software should usually be better suited to remove malware, since it is able to look deeper.

Description:
Win32.Barys.bho is a Trojan horse that gets installed by pretending to be a control panel application. It installs itself as a Browser Helper Object (BHO) in order to control the Internet Explorer's traffic. Win32.Barys.bho hides by pretending to be legit files, for instance Java or Adobe files.
Removal Instructions:

Autorun:

Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd), RunAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=runalyzer) or msconfig.exe to remove the following autorun entries.

Entries named "RunAs" and pointing to "C:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jre6\bin\3.9.9.9\javwsa.cpl".

Files:

Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.

The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\infosapi.DLL".
The file at "<$LOCALSETTINGS>\Temp\singt".
The file at "c:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jre6\bin\3.9.9.9\AdobeUpdate.dll".
The file at "c:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jre6\bin\3.9.9.9\infosapi.DLL".
The file at "c:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jre6\bin\3.9.9.9\javwsa.cpl".
The file at "c:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jre6\bin\3.9.9.9\prffile.dat".
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Win32.Barys.bho uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!

Important: There are more files that cannot be safely described in simple words. Please use Spybot-S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=spybotsd) to remove them.

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.

Delete the registry key "{5B5D5DEE-AF47-4CEA-9135-D6DAC56E6912}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "{5B5D5DEE-AF47-4CEA-9135-D6DAC56E6912}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\".
Delete the registry key "{5B5D5DEE-AF47-4CEA-9135-D6DAC56E6912}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\PreApproved\".
Delete the registry key "{CCC7A320-B3CA-4199-B1A6-9F516DD69829}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\".
Delete the registry key "oftware" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\".
Delete the registry value "{5B5D5DEE-AF47-4CEA-9135-D6DAC56E6912}" at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ext\CLSID\".
If Win32.Barys.bho uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer (http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=regalyzer), RootAlyzer (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=8) or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins (http://forums.spybot.info/downloads.php?id=3).
