I've tried everything, from scanning with Spybot, Malwarebytes Antimalware, Advanced System Care and Super AntiSpyware and I cannot remove this pest.

Only AVG can find him in memory but cannot remove it.

I've searched the internet and found some clues but was unable to remove it. For example I followed step by step guide here http://removers.volyn.net/2012/06/06/remove-trojan-horse-generic_r-awx-that-tends-to-be-registered-in-several-folders-containing-critical-system-files/ but didn't find any of those entries in the registry. And yet AVG still reports I have a virus. And I know it cause the CPU often just blocks for couple of seconds and internet connection often gets slow.

I'd be glad if anyone can point me to some hints.

Hello nwoggy,

In order for someone to advise please see the forum sticky which includes guidelines and instructions in post #2 on how to provide preliminary "DDS" logs used for analysis. :)

http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Then start a new topic providing the DDS logs as shown in that FAQ, along with a description of the computer's symptoms, and a volunteer analyst will assist you when available.

Best regards.
