Fraud.Facebook.Messenger

After updating and scanning, Spybot found entries for Fraud.Facebook.Messenger. When I clicked Fix Selected Problems, I kept getting error messages. Looking at the logs, I see that Spybot S&D took no action against any of the files.

I tried to follow the directions on the Manual Removal Guide page, but could not find any of the files nor directories. I tried searching for the files and directories as they appear in the Spybot report, but came up with nothing there, too.

I'm wondering if I should just deactivate my Facebook until more information comes to light.

For this malware removal forum please see the sticky which includes guidelines in post #1 and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary "DDS" logs which are used for analysis. http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Then start a new topic providing the DDS logs and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available. :)
