looks like youve taken care of everything. youve gone thru the smitfraud fix, log looks good. you can setup firefox to dump cookies for you automatically.

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP 2.
I'm still experiencing some of the the same problems that were occurring before the scans were done. I think the only problem that's not showing up any longer is the pop-up, which warns that the pc is at risk of attack, with links to web pages claiming to provide programs for protection.

My pc is still at a crawl, printer/scanner software is suddenly not opening, although is shown to be open in task manager.

I'm able to shut down the computer via the start menu while using my account, but the other account won't shut down that way.

sorry for delay. dont see any malware lurking in that log. maybe a .exe that got deposited on all users desktop. delete them if you havent already.
