The Internet is a very powerful medium and some people are trying to control it but they're just disillusioned. There are still some countries where their governments are controlling the net for their own agendas. The thing with the lawmakers when trying to pass some bill about the Internet is that they don't really have any idea on what the web is all about. One good example of this is the SOPA act and thank goodness this has been canceled. Anyway, I'm getting fired up! hahaha! Thanks for sharing this news.

The graph below shows DNS traffic from and to Syria. The drop in both inbound and outbound traffic from Syria is clearly visible. The small amount of outbound traffic depicted by the chart indicates our DNS servers trying to reach DNS servers in Syria..."
