service.exe, redirect malware removal help

Hello, and thank you in advance.
My friend's laptop seems to have developed a mind of it's own, opening websites, and doing other unsolicited actions. AVG advises service.exe is a trojan, but leaves it in place. Spybot shows nothing amiss. I tried another virus detector, which also showed nothing, I cannot remember that one. I am turning to you for help in making this laptop usable again, and await your request for more info. I ran ERUNT, and can supply the results when requested. Thank You

In order for someone to advise please see the forum sticky which includes guidelines and instructions in post #2 on how to provide preliminary "DDS" logs used for analysis.

Then start a new topic providing the DDS logs as shown in that FAQ, along with a description of the computer's symptoms, and a volunteer analyst will assist you when available.
